A tool more people can use.

Last updated 28 September 2026

We want everyone to be able to fit a file, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what we aim for, what we have tested, and what we know still needs work.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We don’t claim that the whole site meets that standard yet, and this isn’t a certification or the result of an independent audit. The known issues below say where we fall short.

Ways to use the tool

Use the Choose image or Choose PDF button; you never need to drag and drop a file. Tab through controls, use Enter or Space to activate buttons, and use the labelled settings to set a target. Status and error messages describe the outcome in text; colour is not the only signal.

You can zoom the page and use a narrow screen. Image results provide byte sizes and dimensions as text alongside the preview. PDF results give byte sizes, page counts and what was checked as text; open the downloaded document in your PDF reader to check it.

What we have tested

We have tested the site with automated browser tests on a computer:

  • Chromium and WebKit (the engine behind Safari), driven by Playwright.
  • Screen widths of 320, 390 and 1280 pixels, with phone-sized screens simulated.
  • Automated axe checks against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules they cover.
  • Keyboard-only use of the Image tool, the menus and dialogs.
  • No sideways scrolling at 320 pixels wide, including with increased text spacing, and on the Image tool at 640 pixels wide (a 1280-pixel window at 200% zoom).

Automated checks find only some kinds of problem, and a simulated phone isn’t a real one.

Known issues

  • We haven’t yet tested the site with a screen reader.
  • We haven’t yet tested the site on a real iPhone.
  • Image previews are visual and can’t show whether every detail is readable. The sizes and dimensions are also given as text.

Report a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, email us at j.sourour@2csolution.com.au. Tell us which page and control caused the problem, your browser and device, your zoom level and any assistive technology you use. Please don’t attach your file.

We aim to reply within 30 days.
