A few practical terms.

The terms for using Make My File Fit.
Purpose and availability
Make My File Fit helps supported files meet an upload size limit, where that’s achievable within its limits. Image fitting and PDF structure optimisation are available. Video is in development and not available. Features and browser support may change, and we don’t promise the service will always be available.
The current free service
These terms describe the current service: fitting one file at a time, free, with no account and no payment. No purchase, subscription or advertising interaction is required.
If paid features are ever added: we may add optional paid features in future. Before you pay for anything, we’ll show its price, what it includes and the terms that apply, and you choose whether to accept them.
If advertising is ever added: we’ll update these terms and the Privacy page before switching it on.
Your files and responsibility
Use only files you are entitled to process. You keep your rights in the files you choose. Keep your original, and check every result: image compression and resizing can lose detail, affect colour or make small text harder to read. PDF mode only rewrites document structure; check every page after downloading. Don’t rely on the result where you need an unchanged original, for example as evidence or for archiving.
An upload limit is only one requirement
A result below your chosen limit doesn’t guarantee that another website will accept it. That website may also require a particular format, aspect ratio, pixel dimensions or content. Follow the destination website’s rules.
